Terri Studtmann
POSTPARTUM DOULA
TERRI HAS OVER 20 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WORKING DIRECTLY WITH PARENTS AND THEIR CHILDREN. IT WAS ONLY NATURAL FOR HER TO SEEK OUT AND BECOME A POSTPARTUM DOULA. SHE UNDERSTANDS THERE IS NO ONE PARENTING STYLE AND OFFERS NON-JUDGEMENTAL SUPPORT TO FAMILIES WHILE THEY NAVIGATE THE PATH TO BECOMING THE STRONG PARENTS THEY WANT TO BE.
Terri has a natural way of calming and supporting parents in all the situations that arise during those first days, weeks and months as parents. With her own experience of parenthood and navigating the fourth trimester while living far away from family or support she instantly saw the value in having a well-educated support person to help guide new families. With her degree in preschool and K-8 education.
Her years of experience has led to an extensive insight of the many parenting nuances families have to navigate. She approaches each family with a developed and strong understanding of individualized family support. She celebrates the unique dynamics of each family and is ever mindful to support them in unique ways. With her unbiased support, caring, and nurturing way Terri is a strong asset to any family.
When she is not supporting families Terri can be found creating art, camping, or playing board game after board game with her husband and daughter. She was born in California, lived in Chicago but when they landed in Maine she knew she was home.
